Dentist in Lehigh Acres, FL

Hello, my name is Camille Marques. I was born in New York and raised in Lehigh Acres, Florida. I am a first-generation American and the first dentist in my family. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C and completed an AEGD residency in Buffalo, NY, with NYU Langone. Throughout my training, I have performed a wide range of procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal therapy, simple and surgical extractions, as well as mini and mono implant placements for all-on-four, fix-on-six, and roundhouse cases.  

I chose dentistry and continue to love the field for many reasons: working with my hands, applying science in a meaningful way, connecting with patients one-on-one, and most importantly, helping people; it brings me joy to relieve pain, restore function with esthetic results, and give patients the confidence to take charge of their health and smile again. I look forward to sharing healthy, beautiful smiles with my patients.

I experienced dental trauma when I was young, but I overcame my fear thanks to a dentist who made me feel genuinely comfortable. She would talk to me before every procedure to ease my anxiety, and during one of those conversations, she encouraged me to consider becoming a dentist myself. From that point on, my interest in the profession grew, and it has stayed with me ever since.

When patients express that they have previously struggled with dental anxiety, but after being treated by me, they no longer feel anxious about coming to their appointments.
